Created especially for cruise passengers, your experience begins with convenient pickup inside Costa Maya Cruise Port. Simply show your reservation and our transportation team will coordinate your vehicle for the short 5–10 minute ride to Tequilera Doña Engracia.

Once you arrive, your bilingual host will guide you through the history, culture and production processes behind Mexico’s most iconic agave spirits. This is not a traditional “shot after shot” tasting. It is a relaxed, educational and flavorful introduction to the differences between tequila, mezcal and raicilla.

Your included tasting features Tequila Blanco, Reposado and Añejo, as well as Mezcal and Raicilla. The tasting is complemented with artisanal salts, honey and chocolate designed to enhance the flavors and aromas of the different spirits.

For guests who would like to take the experience to the next level, Extra Añejo is available as an optional premium tasting for an additional charge.

The experience takes place in comfortable, spacious and air-conditioned facilities, with time to explore the boutique and discover additional agave products, traditional cocktails and Mexican artisan items.

• Pickup is located inside Costa Maya Cruise Port. There is no need to walk outside the port to meet your transportation.
• Transportation from Costa Maya Cruise Port to Tequilera Doña Engracia takes approximately 5–10 minutes.
• The guided agave cultural experience lasts approximately 60 minutes.
• After the experience, guests may choose either return transportation to Costa Maya Cruise Port or complimentary drop-off in Mahahual / at our partner beach club, according to the selected option.
