After disembarking from your cruise ship, walk through the Costa Maya Cruise Port shopping area to the Taxi Tour Mahahual booth located inside the port. Show your reservation and our team will assign your vehicle for the direct transfer to Captain Mono Beach Club.


Captain Mono is a traditional local beachfront club on the Mahahual boardwalk, known for its relaxed Caribbean atmosphere, friendly service, and great location directly by the sea.


Once you arrive, enjoy 3 hours of open bar from a selected drink menu while relaxing by the Caribbean. Your experience also includes access to the beach club facilities, a table, lounge chair access, Wi-Fi, and kayak use at no additional cost.


The beach club is family-friendly. Guests who do not drink alcohol can still enjoy the beach, facilities, and atmosphere, with food and non-alcoholic beverages available à la carte.


When the 3-hour open bar ends, you do not have to leave. You may continue enjoying Captain Mono at your own pace, subject to operating hours and your cruise schedule. Food and additional beverages can be ordered à la carte.


When you are ready to return, simply let your server know. Return transportation to Costa Maya Cruise Port is included, making your beach day simple from arrival to return.

    • The 3-hour open bar is available only to guests age 18 and over. Valid photo ID may be requested.

    • Children and guests under 18 are welcome and may enjoy the beach club facilities. Non-alcoholic drinks and food are available à la carte.

    • The open bar applies only to the selected drink menu and lasts for 3 consecutive hours from the time it begins.

    • Pickup is inside Costa Maya Cruise Port at the Taxi Tour Mahahual booth. After leaving your ship, walk through the port shopping area without exiting the cruise port.

    • Round-trip transportation between Costa Maya Cruise Port and Captain Mono Beach Club is included.

    • After the open bar ends, guests may remain at the beach club subject to operating hours and their cruise schedule.

    • When ready to return, simply notify your server so return transportation can be coordinated.

    • Kayak use is subject to weather and sea conditions.

    • Food and any beverages outside the open bar menu are available at additional cost.

    • Please keep your cruise ship departure time in mind. We recommend returning to the port with sufficient time before boarding.
